my vision is to be the

first call

for those with

impact

I’ve lived my life exploring how bravery in the moment impacts opportunity in the future. My timeline is full of peaks and valleys, but it’s the gaps between where life proved it was worth more than just living - it was worth leaping.

Current rates & availability

I’m experimenting with what a “full practice” looks like for me, so I’m wide open for referrals and sandboxes. I’d like to build my practice to full time with a 60/40 split between 1:1 coaching and sandboxes.

My current low rate is $500/mo (typically for ideal clients only) and my current highest rate is $1200/mo. As I’m very interested in adding value where I can, I’d consider all referrals from Novus Global coaches.

My ideal client is called upon to outperform their “potential” for a living. They string together moments of greatness - season after season, album after album, decision after decision. Performance is both an act of self-expression and a way for others to express themselves - as fans, followers, employees, and teammates.

Having experienced the tension between the internal and external motivations that athletes, artists, and executives share first hand, I feel compelled to hold space for the rhythm required to compete, create, and compel a team.

My Ideal Client

  • B.A. Business and Design, California Baptist University

    Disney Institute, Leadership Excellence

Meta Performance™ Institute, Certified Executive Performance Coach

  • Executive Creative Director, Sandals Church

Founder, Managing Partner, Creative Director, Black Roses

    Founder, Chief Strategist, Designer, legible.org

  • Riverside Police Oversight Committee

Parkview Legacy Foundation, Executive Board Member

The Black Arts Museum, Executive Board Member

    The Raincross Group, Board Member

Strengths

  • I’ve spent years consulting in boardrooms and generating strategies in my own. I know the lingo and press through corporate bullshit to reveal deeper truths.

  • I understood “everything is resource” before I encountered it in MPI. Seeing opportunity where others saw an obstacle is a key differentiator for me.

  • I developed a strategy to excavate vision with my agency clients prior to joining NG. I see vision as the guiding force behind corporate and personal behavior.

opportunities

  • I’m still shedding my previous bent and I still do some of the heavy lifting. I am prioritizing keeping the client on the hook and relying solely on the ontological process as a tool of discovery and growth.

  • I am wildly ambitious and have relied on the dopamine hit of success and failure to feel alive. I am learning to see a grand vision with sober eyes.

  • Wins and losses, breaking records, and being known for delivering are hallmarks of my brand - and how I’ve help my own value. I’m learning to ponder my capabilities within a different context now.

quick hits

I’ll be married 20 years this year

My wife, Dr. Noemi Hernandez Alexander, is a professor of Political Science and is an elected Board Member of the Riverside Unified School District. It was love at first sight for me, but she took some convincing.

Thank Janet and JKB. (Or blame them)

My team worked with Janet on her personal brand and I was fascinated with how she described her work. I saw a picture of JKB in her assets (we’ve known each other since the late 1900’s) and I reached out for more info. They have both been instrumental in my growth and my love for what Novus Global means to the world.

we are a sports obsessed family

My kids Zoe (16) and Zeke (13) both play competitive club soccer in Southern California and my daughter also plays for King High School. If we’re not training, they’re playing. If they’re not playing we’re watching. I spend late nights editing game tape to watch during breakfast.

I was a 3 sport varsity recruit until an ankle injury between my senior year of high-school and freshman year of college limited my physical abilities, but not my love for competition. I have since coached youth sports including women’s basketball, youth baseball, and youth soccer. I have 2 marathons and 3 half marathons in the books and have a goal of completing a Century Ride this year.

my full name is a doozy

Dextral Delector Alexander II. That’s the handle I got stuck with. Dextral means right handed (I’m left handed. Sinistral would’ve been more appropriate.) Delector is where delicious and delightful derive from. My grandad taught himself to read and picked words from the dictionary to name my father and his siblings.

My year one vision

Is to be in the 400K club. The gap is over $350K. I haven’t even finished the Trainual yet and I’m swinging for the fences. I’m not sure how I’ll get there yet but my mentor, squad, and you will play big a part. I have a vision to leverage my network for sandboxes and referrals as well as I grow my own practice.

I can help with these things, too

(You’d be better off buying a book, I just love dogs.)
